I was after a French Worker jacket for a while but when new they tend to look somewhat unauthentic and the fit is on the roomy side. I tracked this St James jacket down to The Nautical Company and it looked perfect - heavier cotton with some texture, a bit distressed so looks worn-in and a slimmer fit compared with length. I've had it a few days now and in this chilly spring we're having it's a great outerwear weight and actually very wind-resistant. It wears well with jeans and chinos, get a Breton top to complete the look! Quality is really excellent, no loose threads and buttons are well attached. The sizing was true to expectation - I'm a 40" / medium and the jacket fits perfectly. I think this will be a 3 season staple for me. Recommended.Paul T. (9 May 2017, 23:02)
