This is the traditional sailing fisherman's Breton sweater from renowned Breton marine label Royal Mer in plain dark navy blue colour suitable for men & women. A classic Breton style with its navy blue shoulder buttoning, made in 100% high quality new wool with a straight cut & raised neckline. Signature branding label on one arm with ribbed cuff but no hem on end of body length unlike the standard jumper version.

This sweater molds to your body shape and it is designed to give elasticity once worn. As such some customers prefer to go for a size above their normal jumper size. It is all a matter of preference on how defined you would like the body contouring to be. It is the same as the Matelot. If you are not after a body hugging type, please check the standard jumper shaped one.
It is not usual to wear the collar with one button undone should you prefer to do so.
