Well made smock
Just to confirm the XL one arrived today and is a perfect fit. The sizing on this specific garment is obviously a little on the small side so I’d recommend your customers buy a size bigger than the guide suggests. I’d give the garment a 5 star as it’s exactly as described and well made.Adrian O. (27 Jul 2020, 15:14)
Very pleased with my purchase
The exchange has arrived and fits perfectly. I am very pleased with my purchase. It is all expected. To tell the tale of my purchase, I go back a year or so. I was on a wooden pilot cutter sailing boat travelling from Beaulieu to Falmouth. A fellow crew member had a Mousequeton Smock and i admired it. As a sailing top, it has a lot going for it. Quick to put on, wind and shower proof, it is warm, practical and tough. Tough is good on a wooden sailing boat where ropes are there to be hauled and there's not always time to get changed. Big chest pocket holds the gloves and tools always needed. The hood adds to its usefulness. When I was dashing below to grab my waterproofs, my mate pulled up the hood and carried on. In some respects, its like a sort of upmarket hoodie, its only down point is that it doesn't compress much but hey, you have to wear it more. Colour wise, i wanted it to look like it had crossed the channel many times. It does. In time it will only look more weathered and that's part of the charm. I've been searching for this for a while and finally bit the bullet. My suggestion is to buy it big. This is quite a stiff garment but for me that's OK. I wanted it for protection and flexibility in use with room for lots of layers beneath. I guessed my size wrong but changing for the right size straightforward. I might have to buy another one - my wife has a dangerously covetous look.Alex W. (15 Jun 2020, 12:24)
