Quality wise, it is the exact same fabric as this long sleeved white and red stripe Breton top, a nice thick yet soft cotton.

Contrary to French sizing, these tops fit like a normal UK size equivalent. If you are after a snug fit, opt for one size down your normal one, being a soft jersey, it will hug your body well. Being a thick jersey cotton, it has a certain amount of natural elasticity so if you use our garment's measurements below to compare with one at home, make sure it is a semi-fitted top and not a straight cut one.

This is a fun variation of the classic long-sleeve Breton top. The fabric is excellent quality and so soft - it moulds really well to the body. I was unsure about what size would be best for me (5'9", 130 lbs, 32D, wide shoulders so overall an inverted triangle shape) and was trying to decide between the brand's sizes 1 and 2. Ultimately I went for size 1 and am very happy with the fit. I'd also like to mention that the customer service at The Nautical Company is really excellent; they really went above and beyond in helping me decide what was the best size for me.
