Traditional Breton smock in navy blue perfect for heavy duty activities. Made in 100% thick twill cotton, this fisherman's vareuse is primarily a work garment designed in true Breton style with the V neck collar, the internal chest pocket to prevent small belongings from falling overboard and the button fastener on the inside to avoid catching nets and ropes. Features include also side slits and a label on the left sleeve.

The navy blue is best described as the one of item pictured alone on the white background but it will fade gradually with washing to get this sought after distressed colour like on the image with the top model.

Note: all our v neck smocks are the traditional Breton design made in the required thick canvas fabric. We stock three different makes solely to give customers options in terms of pricing and branding, ie:

Breton Smock Navy Blue

Imagine the shirt being cut out of heavy sail cloth from a yacht that has just sailed around the Horn. This replaces an identical shirt with a tomato stain that has been relegated to a work shirt. It was delivered by Royal Mail which I liked because there is always the thought that if you miss the delivery then it goes back to the sorting office. I like that there is an inside pocket which is a secure place for an Iphone. It is out of sight and also less likely to fall into a toilet. I like that is a heavy weight fabric so suitable for winter time, I wear it as a smart casual shirt. I ordered an XL when I would normally order a 42 inch large, but it looks better as a loose fit over a t shirt. Great product
